I cant get the full size wheel sets to work at all, Ive failed 3 times. They look friggin fantastic and I want full size wheels so bad. But I want them to work right. Can anyone that has done some that work well give me some pointers. Ive been trying the one that uses char-g rear wheels.Tiny get some of those damn metal wheel sets plz! =)

What are your problems? If the wheels are rubbing the body, you might have to shave the body, but the easy way is to find an OEM with a completely flat suspension bar.

Its rubbing on something without the body on. I cant figure it out. I think maybe I need to adjust spacers now that I look at it. After seein g the full size wheels on my bit I really cant stand the small wheels in the front. Going to go and try the johnny lightning mod I think

You need to dremel the chassis. It rubs against it when it turns. Personally, I like the rubbing because it slows you down and stops flip overs at high speeds. More control too.

Just got a few johnny lightnings today, the tires look too small imo. But Ill try it. And I got new spacers for the full size wheel set/ Going to try it again. And I think ill dremel the chasis out as well.

I never liked the idea of using a spacer that I had to supply and center myself. I want it to be lightweight, balanced, and symetrical, I'm just weird like that.

I use the rear wheels with the spacer from two rears.

I have done two full size wheelset mods this way, one with KIT Racer wheels, and one with Zip Zap wheels (No pics yet).

This is a mixed blessing.

Yes the longer spacers hold the wheels out to where they don't hit when turning, but the wheels also have a wider stance.
I widedned one of my KIT Racer rears, and I will be building out my Zip Zaps rear as soon as my MS Gear and Wheel Tuning Kit arrives. The ZZ rear is getting the 8.25:1 gearset.
I am using old non-standard drive gears for spacers with gel super glue holding it all together.

You will also need longer custom pins for these wheels, but I had KIT racer axles to cut, I realize not everyone has these.
I also realize not everyone has the option to build out rears, but I like the resulting fatter look, and it makes the fullsize wheelset mod easier for me, and lets me not be neurotic about the balanced performance of my FS front wheels.

Here are the washers I found today. thye are perfect, small and light. I likem using 2 left/gear side as well but im running out of them hehe and I actually think I might beable to use these washers and 2 right/non gear side wheels, more effiecently

Just got home with these johnny lightnings, gunna tear um up and see what i can do, They are defiantly small tho

heres a better look to compare size, now they do have some big fat wheels on some JLs but they are more wide then tall and not much biger then the black tahoe tires seen here. Damn n ice wheels and tires tho
