Problems with R-Specs...
About a week ago I ordered 2 R-Spec motors for my cars, and they came in quickly (thanks TinyRC.com!). I will say that while they worked, they were a blast, but there are obvious problems that arose quickly. :(
The first one went into my 350Z. It worked for about 4 hours total running time, but now it sputters and works intermittenly. One second it will be blazing and the next it will barely move (if at all). The next went into my Skyline. It worked for about 1 hour running time, and now it does not turn at all. It has barely enough juice to keep it going when I push it off the line (not enough power to get off the line :(). Do all R-Spec motors have problems like this? I would like to get them exchanged if possible, but will they burn out again so quickly? I know they are somewhat notorious, but they are excellent motors that I would like to stick with if possible. Also is there anything I can do to prevent future problems? Thanks, -Cyrus Mistry |
Uhh... did bitchar-gmotors go on vacation? :)

Vyrus,
Not all R-specs have this problem. You must have received a bad motor. You'll need to contact TinyRC and they will replace it for you. Kyle BITCHAR-GMOTORS.COM |
