some faster than others
I just got a white skyline MS and it's 2.2 is hella fast. Faster than my 2.6 27mhz chassis speed set. The skyline is a 49mhz car. Can that make a difference? It even runs longer w/the stock battery in it. My speed chassis has a 1.2 v Nimh. The 2.6 isn't more than a month old and doesn't get run all the time. The motor can't be that old cuz it's still pretty quick. Definitely faster than the stock chassis w/2.2 motor. Anybody have an idea why?
:btm: bc12m bg825 b27m b26 bbimpb bbskyw stock Can't wait for my 350Z and my 3.5 bitmod to get here !:D |
uhhhh
frequencie doesnt make ne car faster or slower is the 2.6 from a hotwheels k.i.t racer? cuz i did and its slower than my zz turbo
|
No, the 2.6 is from the MS speed set. Don't get me wrong it's plenty fast. The weird thing is that the 2.2 is faster that it, and it is running stock gears. They are both running medium tires and there are no other mods on either car except the 1.2 Nimh battery in the 2.6 car. That does nothing except extend run time. I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this same phenomenon.

what surface do you run on? 2.2 will be faster out of the hole and on carpet.

I run my cars on tile floor (each tile is a 50cmx50cm square). Not only is it faster off the line but overall. I have another 2.2 and its not nearly as fast. Just stock speed.

then you got lucky. i have a few clone motors that are better overall than any 2.6 by far and one is better than the r-spec. tho i havnt worked the r-spec in totally yet so that could change.

I've had two MS 2.6 motors and noticed that both were slower than a stock 2.2 motor. Don't know why

Any idea why isk8blind has my Avatar? You know they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery!
