Clone Body

Hi
I've been attempting to take off the paint off a clone body (Cuz it looks like a Beamer and it's got large wheel wells f/ and b/ ) And I used paint thinner , alcohol , peroxyde.. anything i could put my hands on and N-O-T-H-I-N-G.. I'm thinking I should just let it sit in paint thinner for the night but I'd like to keep the black windshield/windows... Any suggestions and Ideas ?

Thanks,
-Lucas

Could it be the color of the plastic it is made of? My clone had a white body and painted black windows. The white was just the plastic. The other colors were the same deal tho. Be careful with solvents, some will eat your plastic. Nail polish remover took off the black paint but ate up the plastic on mine.

Yeah it's an ugly dirty "full" kind of plastic.. the plastic is kinda white.. not clear like lexan or MS bodies.. Should i just paint over ?
how bout sanding.. not fine enough ?

I'd say paint over. I dont think sanding would be neccesary.

Yes, just paint over them. But make sure to:

1. Be very careful not to get any paint in your gears
2. Remove the front wheels, too, before painting
3. Give the paint plenty of time to dry

I'd take of the body before painting of course :)
