hey i have an nissian fairlady Z and on the remote there is an little turbo thing if i hold it down..how come i got one of those ?? my other one doesnt have it..is it just the car or what ?

The fairlady Z is a two-speed car. says so on the box:)

Does it speed up or just travel slowly without boost?

When you arn't boosting, the pcb occilates current to the motor. It's like tapping the forward button really really fast to slow your car down and increase runtime. The boost button stops the oscillation.

hehe thats coool. i didnt really pay attention to the box cuz it was in jap. i got it for christmas..is the 350z the only one with the 2 speed ?

also if u use the boost thing the whole time , i only last's a few minutes it drains up the playtime :(

The only other sets with the boost function are the Auto Modellista set and the Japanese Booster Sets (which just comes with a chasis, tires, engine, and clear body....no controller).

Doesn't the auto modellista come with a boost contoller?

Yes, Auto Mod comes with a booster controller! Auto Modellista is a great set according to some, but an overrated heap to others. Instead of asking us, do what feels right to you.

Might wait a bit 2 c if the clones do a booster,esp as we have valentines day in Feb in UK,gotta keep the gf happy!

Oh, and the clone booster is called a Nakamichi racer, do a search on eBay.
