Stand Alone charger???

I have this charger.. the HOBBICO 910

http://www.hobbico.com/chargers/hcap0125.html

And the HOBBICO 850

http://www.hobbico.com/chargers/hcap0123.html

I used these for my TAMIYA cars.... is there anyway to make them work with a BITCHAR charging base?? I can just run the clamps onto the wire of the wiring base...

The 910 is a variable charger and i can set the charging currnet high or low and anything in between.. if i set it to low.. would that work.. it doesn't really say what it does though.. the other one is only meant for 1200-1700mAh and might not work.. whereas the 910 doesn't say anything specific.

consider this a bump...

these are timed chargers so i don't know if it's possible.

I think you would damage the battery, and possibly cook the charger because they are meant to charge batteries that are 7.2-8.4 volts. I use a DuraTrax Piranha Digital (which can charge 1-8 cells). The MRC SuperBrain 959 has a single cell mode also. Both retail for less than $50.

cool thanks! One that can change modes would be great cause I'd like to have just a base station that can charge 4 cars at once.. that'd be cool
