Got my Tomy Bits Today!

I finally got my Tomy bits today that I ordered from Toyeast. All I can say is Wow!. I've had two clones for a couple weeks and I thought they weren't that bad (a panther and a connonball). The quality of the Tomy cars just blow away the two clones I had. I got the Blue Skyline GT-R and the Silver Honda S2000. I now know what all the fuss is about.

The first mod I tried was dropping a 150nimh batter in the skyline. However I noticed when doing this mod that the car did not coast as far as the Honda did when I let off of the gas and the car seemed a bit loader. The handling seemed a bit stiffer because of this. I put the original batter back in the car and it seemed to go back to normal? Can I expect this from the battery mod?

do you guys know if the battery from the kit racers from hot wheels is a 150nimh battery?

The battery from the KIT Racers is a NiCad and is only 50mah (like the stock bit battery). It makes a good battery for a dual cell mod and is also a real Tomy batt. HTH
