Skyline V35
 

Ok I've been dying to ask this....well ok so not dying but....anyways.....I'm just curious. What does everyone think of the Skyline V35's? Like, don't like, abhor, what? Personally I like the new 2003's. They look a lot more Skyline-ish than the 2002's did (which I thought looked more like an acura or something). So any thoughts, elaborations, rants?

Yep. The Skyline V35 was brought over to the American market as the Infiniti G35. Sport coupe has 6 speed manual transmission w/ 280 HP stock. :D :D :D

And though this isn't really all that skyline-ish in appearance the newer 2003 model (above is 2002 btw) looks more skyline-ish and I think looks cooler. Couldn't find a pic of it though for some reason.... :(

Well i can say this...i want the old ones back!

I want the R34 with twin turbos, awd, and aws.

Darn why couldnt they allow us to get the old Skyline instead?

Well this is the V series skyline (sort of a new line that they started). It's not an R series (they kinda put the R-series on the back burner for a while). And yes I agree I'd rather of had hte R-series. However, there is talk of them bringing the R-series over to the US with the release of the new R35 GT-R. Though honestly I can't confirm it. Anyone else know for certain or heard anything?

from what i hear there is not going to be an "r" body designation anymore.not even in japan.it will be the skyline v35, but they are planning to bring the infiniti x35 over here next year, which will be the gt-r exactly.only problem is what motor they are going to use now, since they aren't going to make the rb series anymore.i hear they've been working on some hybrids of the 350z/g35 motor, and the q45 motor.twin turbo supposedly.

Dang man I sure hope the x35 isn't just a rumor. I so want a skyline GT-R...I mean the v35 is cool and all but it's not AS cool. What have you heard about hte R35 concept? Anything? I mean is that just a prototype for like 2004 release as the x35 or do you know? And while we're on that what do ya'll think of the R35 concept?

the 4 door G35 looks damn nice

the G35 coupe looks nicer, although i would take a 350Z over the G35 coupe.

key word: lighter.

as for the R35 concept, well, its a....concept.

i'll have to see what theyre doing with it in its final stages before i come to a conclusion about it

but i do know that they are on the right track :)

Ok on the nissan japan site they say the Skyline is coming back (we are supposed to get the new one, but probably not for like 1 year after japan). They show the outline, but it looks alot like the infiniti crap.

I am going to the Auto show here next week and rumor (friend working for nissan in the IT dept, said the new skyline IS there) and i plan to have the digi cam ready and i'll post what i find out!
