i had the same problem mate ..here's what i did ..take a ball point spring loaded pen ..take the spring out and cut the spring in 4 equal peices. put the pieces in the diff where the dog bones lye..now there is a weeee bit more tension and the springs give it a little play but not enought o come out

email tiny (shop@tinyrc.com) he should have the dogbones.

Also you might want to get a set of motor pinions, when you hit something dead on they tend to break!

thanks for your help.wut diff and pinion gears come stock w/the mini x? and also do u no wut the lowest turn moter the esc can handle?

turtle 01-03-2003 10:20 PM

nevermind the moter limit thing my esc popped.

catman25 01-03-2003 10:36 PM

dude what happened? what did you try ?

binaryterror 01-04-2003 01:07 AM

in his sig says he tried an 18t

well the stock motor is an 80t, so yeah that would pop almost any ESC, even the Spy doesnt handle 18t i think.

turtle 01-05-2003 06:36 PM

the stock motor is 70t and it just said that the spy cant handle 380 and up sized moter
also in the parts shop wut is the mini x mp-01 chassis set

binaryterror 01-06-2003 06:26 AM

the chassis set is just the plastic chassis. no suspension pieces or screws.

turtle 01-06-2003 02:42 PM

so no arms.. right?

binaryterror 01-06-2003 03:08 PM

Arms are a different number, email tiny (shop@tinyrc.com) for the number.
