Variable power mod
 

Working on it now. 2.4V with 3.1 motor with a screwdriver adjustable pot that changes the power output to match the track. Pics and info to follow when I'm done. :eek:

I tried that. I couldn't figure out which pot to buy (I bought a few). Then again, I didn't try very hard. I just accepted failure :rolleyes: :eek: :)

Hey, great minds think alike! :)

The other post is weak...

Our car has 2 pots, one for power one for headlight dimming.
The car runs on 3 150mA batteries and looks completely stock from the outside. The pots are tucked nicely above the axle. Just pop it out, tweak the pots, snap it in and roll.

With a 1.6 engine and blue gears it screams by dual cell bits with 3.8's all day long!:D
