How do ya hook this up

I was thinking about making a switch to turn my dual cell mod on and off, I think I have seen this done before, but con't remember how it was done, will someone please draw out a scematic telling me how to hook this up.

Here is my scematic, it's a little rought, but tell me iff this will work, while the switch is off, the duall cell mod takes place, when the switch is on only one cell is going. I got to thinking, also, would the second cell turned off be too much weight, and also is it even worth it to have a switch and what about charging?

Sorry about somany questions, but I'm not exactely a pro electrician

Well, just make up your own scematic, and tell me how to hook it up, becaus I just confirmed that my scematic won't work anyway

do this

just cut one of the wires goin to the extra battery and put a switch conected to each end to turn it on and off

With the low cost of these cars, why not just build a two-cell mod and leave it that way?
The extra battery would just be more weight to haul around if it isn't being used for power. Also, the added switch/wiring means even MORE weight on your car.
The idea, while good in concept, probably isn't that good in practice.
