Voltages...
Does anyone know the maximum voltage the bit motors can handle? and the circuit board?
The cell phones have a 3.6V battery that makes the vibration motor work, and i've seen some mods that use 3 batteries (1.2V x 3 = 3.6V), so is this 3.6V the limit? |
heck keep trying to see. the effects of too high of voltage may take a while to show up. i cant imagine needing more than 2.4 since my car is almost out of control on wood floors with 1.2v

i thihnk 3 is the max..i never say any1 who did four batts that didnt have any problems

I ran 12 volts (from a AC to DC plug) through my 2.6 motor directly.
It didn't make it out alive. :o |
was it stinky?
|
hehehe, at least now i have a minimum limit to get my motor dead :) anyone with a maximum working limit? ;)
|
Heh.... yeah, it was a stinky motor...LoL
It ran like a 1.0. I first used a 12v battery to try to kill it but that wasn't happening. Actually, it wasn't happening fast enough. It must not have been a true 12v battery but you could smell the motor burning up slowly. After I put it to the AC to DC plug, it lasted about 10 seconds and died. May it rest in piece. |
