ZZ v. Bits
 

Alright in this thread everyone who looks at it must tell whether they like ZZ's or Bit char-g's so Sound off!:D

the bit pcb gives more juice to the motor without sapping it with a series of resistors and unnecessary crap. also, the bits are lighter and have shorter wheelbases, making them handle better. but zips are I guess better for straightaway racing...meh, its your pick.

Actually I think you got it backwards. The short wheelbase of a bit makes them harder to handle and the zips I have found have much better handling. I really dislike these threads because they are basically flame bait for the fanatics. I own bits, zips, micros, clones, etc. and I have fun playing with them all. It is my opinion that a zip with a bit/clone pcb is the best combo. Any one who bitches about stock cars is in it for the wrong reasons. My stock tomy bitchar-g was slower than my stock zip, and my stock microsizer was slower than my stock clones. I like to mod these to my own preferences and the only problems I have is availability.

Bit Char-G cars are more reliable than Zip Zaps. Although the Zip Zap is slower compared to the Bit Char-G, the Zip Zap has better range, and steering. The opinnions on Bit Char-G vs. Zip Zaps vary, but I'll give Zip Zaps a 9, and Bit Char-G a 9. These are both excellent micro rc cars, and should be looked into.

Mini-Z are the b-oh wait, bit thread, right? Microsizers all the way! Zip Zaps are huge though. They have tons of the American licensing, FnF cars, Porsche, cheaper prices, as sessiz said-better handling, nice rims...but they're sooo slow outta the box! My Mustang sits in the corner nowadays, without any upgrades it's pretty sluggish. Zip Zaps are more kid-friendly, and therefore they sell much better than most other bits, besides clones. So, in confirmation to sessiz's comments, a ZipChar-G is the best compromise.

Availability - Bits
 

Radio Shack does a better job of marketing their products. They're so good at it that I, or anyone I know, have not been able to find them in stock at any of the local stores since they came out. At least I can get my hands on MicroSizers. Even clones are never in stock around here at the retailers that advertise them. You can't order ZZs on Radio Shack's website either. If availability were key, the Bits would win hands down. Crank up the production Radio Shack! I hate when places never have what they always advertise.

Shorter wheelbase does make them handle better. It makes them turn sharper, which goes under the column of "good handling" I said Zips are better for long straightaway racing because their turns are more sweeping due to their longer wheelbase.

But then if you suck at driving I guess the flickability of a Bit would constitute bad handling.
