Pro Line Racing bodies on DRR?

I was wondering if any of the bodies Pro Line Racing (http://www.pro-lineracing.com/) makes would fit on a DRR? I just ordered a DRR (which I can not wait to get) and I want to "upgrade" the body on the DRR. The McLaren body looks ok but a little on the cheap side, especially compared to a Mini Z or Micro RS4. I was also wondering if Pro Line's rims would work on DRR... on another note I've read that the Micro Rs4 motors will work in a DRR, which one and how much faster do they go with them? I've read that the DRR's go about 10mph out of the box.

Thanks!

Ryan

A stock DRR is by far the slowest out of the box RTR 1/24 scale car. No way will it get 10mph stock. Maybe if you put some 700mah NiMH batteries in it. But still unlikely.

All of the motors for the micro RS4 that I have tried fit in the DRR, I think they all do.

Not sure about the pro-line bodies, I will check into it.

If Pro Line is now making 1/24 bodies and rims IM sure they will fit but as far as I know they only make 1/10 scale bodies. The Stock FK180 motor for the MRS4 will fit and be a lot faster.

Thanks for the reply IRC,

Will you be carrying any of the Proline Racing products on your page? Proline Bodies look really good from the pics I've seen (especially the Ferrari 360 Modena) and they seem to be at a pretty good price. BTW that Aktiv Mercedes CLK body looks so sweet on your DRR! How long did it take you to paint it? Does it come with the decals? I'm not a fan of the racing decals, I prefer the Touring Car style. I'd about kill (not really!) for a highly detailed McLaren F1, Lamborghini Murcielago (like HPI has), or Diablo body... anyone know where I could find some to fit a DRR?

Thanks,

Ryan

 ARGGGGGG:mad:

I checked into it, the smallest bodies pro-line makes is for the micro RS4's at 1/18 scale. No wheels or bodies have been made for the 1/24 scale cars by pro-line as of 12.20.02
LETS REVOLT!!! or maybe not:p

tch0rt, the Aktiv Benz body comes w/o stickers. I used pectra paint and it only took a muinets to apply the paint.. The decals took some time though. ABC has a nice MaClaren body that will fit great on your DRR.

IRC,

Do you know where I could get the ABC McLaren body? Well I'd really like to see a picture of one first. I've looked around on the web a little and I was unabble to find anything about this body. BTW I tried http://www.abchobby.com but their 1/24th scale body section seems to be missing.

Thanks,

Ryan
