MicroSizer Shortage, Where did they go?

If any of you want to know where all the MicroSizers went this holiday season then just pull on down to The Hobby Center in my home town. I went over there to get a MicroSizer and when I arrived I was shocked! There were hundreds upon hundreds of MicroSizers there! They had every color of every car with every kit or tune up you could think of x 10! They have everything there and they say that they never go out of stock! They say that they sell on average around 2,000 MicroSizers per week! That is a ton of money!!!!!!!!!!

At the low price they sell at (19.99 per car) they make 8.00 per car. 8.000 x 2000 = $16,000 per week! And that is just on MicroSizers!

The owner told me that he got the cars last year at an auction. He thought that he would just sell them or give them away as a promotion for his 4 new stores opening in Atlanta. He never dreamed of selling 2,000 per week! That is amazing! He has made over 150,000k in nine months! That is huge! He is planing to build a bigger store with tracks to race the MicroSizers. He is going to start a league of racers that will meat every week end to race. The winnings will be around $25 per win! That is awsome! The entry fee to the league is $50 plus race feas of $5 per week. It is a great idea! This way when he sells out he will have a large number of people that are willing to pay him more money just to use the same cars that they bought from him. He already has 19 people that said that they would sign up for the league.

He wants to know what kind of tracks to make for the league. He asked me about any real world tracks thay I would wanted to be replicated, but I had no idea. If you have any suggestions then just post it here. He already is building three drag strips at difrent legnths (10, 20, and 30 feet). He also has a small track made for two cars.

I posted this just because I was shocked with how much money he has made in such a short time! I told him about this forum and asked him to put up an ad for it in his shop. He told me that he might do it so that will bring a lot of publicity to the shop. There are some things in Tiny's shop that he does not have like the batts and the motors so this will be a plus for Tiny's pocket!

I am going back tonight to buy some more cars (I just got my pay check!) so I will close this thred now.

Now you know where they all are :)

Can you pick me up a Blue Impreza? I'll pay you in cash after Christmas! :D

I can try and pick one up. shipping may be a problem for me. I don't live near a post office. The closest one is like 25 miles. The one close to my house burned down about a month or two ago.

e-mail me after christmas and we will see.

Now what type of meat are we talking about? Are they going to BBQ some hamburgers or are they going to go all out with steak and such?

Sorry I had to.
