Welcome to the forum,

1. is the motor making clear connection?

2. is you heat sink pushed all of the way down?

3. are your tires fully on the wheels?

4. is there hair on ur axel?

5. What gearing are you using?

6. have you ever opened up the front of your car?

7. is you axel pushed all the way into the slot?

8. is your pinion gear pished far in enough for the gears not to skip?.

all they are ok but how do i check the last one and even if i do get it to work its slower the the oringinal

pinion gear is the black gear on your motor, is it making a clear connection with the gears?

TemjinNeo78 12-13-2002 08:41 PM

TemjinNeo78 12-13-2002 08:56 PM

alright check to see if the car is on full charge, and perhaps you need new controller batteries. That is a common problem among all rc racers...:)

yellow=2.2
orange=2.6
blue=1.0

i just got the car today its full charge and sometimes it wouldnt go backwards

timisone 12-13-2002 09:05 PM

but when i pick it up it has no problems

The slow backwards driving was a result from the earlier skipping which you fixed, so that shouldnt be a problem anymore, all i can think of is that you have a defective 2.6 motor. Contact hobbico (they have great customer service) and tell them you dilemma. They will gladly replace you motor.:D But before you even do that ride around your microsizer and 2.2 if the 2.2 seems to start off the line fast it begins to go slow. Try to test both of these motors and you may notice that the 2.6 will quickly gain its speed.
