Dropped my BIT, now steering is out
Duel cell modded my bit and got it running really quick..until it fell down the celler stairs.
Now the steering is out and will pull to the right even when I adjust it underneath as far as it will go. I checked the magnet for debris e.t.c and all seemed fine. The steering doesn't seem to centre itself either like it used to? Any ideas on how i could mend this?? PLlleaaassee?!!? |
Check for the steering spring to make sure that it's still there. It may have popped off.

the little tiny spring? yeah its still there. What does it do? I noticed that one leg of it is slightly higher than the other, would that make a difference??
|
the steering spring is a piece of the bit that returns the wheels to a centered position after turning. it is normal for it to have on leg a little higher than the other, but not too much higher. if it's too high, try to carefully bend it so that it is equal tot he other end. maybe that will fix it.

yea....this happened to my friend and he is not ahppy, we were playin with them (dragging and whatever) and suddenly he lost his right turn, he can turn left but not right. i was wondering if anyone knew what the deal is and how to fix it...or even just what the deal is and i will try to fix it (he has chubby fingers)
|
lol I have chubby fingers..can u fix mine 2??!
|
Just found out - it's nothing to do with dropping my BIT, its running it with duel cell & 2.6 which is causing steering problems, must be too powerful!
If i run it without cell mod, or when power is draining - steering is fine! Thanks for your sugggestions! |
im betting that your magnet is not quite centered.

It can olso be that some cables are touching the - or + from the reciever. the ones that goes to the coil. check if some are touching if so, separete them from touching other cables bases or touching themself, (its like when you acelerate and the tires go left, its sending energy to the front coils making them go right or left)
PS, some times I even dont undersatand myself. |
