Weight Distribution
 

Anyone have ideas of how to lighten the load in the front? I noticed that when I pushed down on the back of my car my front wheels were better able to steer both left and right (from a standstill it turns right, but refuses to budge left until the car starts moving forward/backward)

the steering is not a prob at speed and the steering is quite responsive, but from a standing start the car has to be in motion before turning - it's annoying. I looked into adding weight into the 2 screw holes in the back of the chassis, but it didn't lift the front. i know sticking a penny to the back of the car shell would work but i don't want wheelies or an ugly exterior. argh!

would adding springs to the front knuckles free the front wheels to turn because it would carry the load? i dunno. help, thanks!

um if you put weight at the back the steering will be less responsive due to the front wheels not making proper contact with the ground, ie less friction, resulting in huge understeer

you could whip out a dremel if you have one, and shave your steering cover thinner..or what not..
theres tons of ways to reduce weight in general, you either cut it out, or thin it out

Dont know if you all have tried this on im sure somone has. i took my pcb out of the chassis and drilled nine holes on each side of the chassis it helped with acceliration and top speed and my drifts are off the chain.

I have read in a couple places that some people have lubed thier fornt ends with graphite, might this help with your problem?
