Here's a pic of my rover...just finished the design. Complete with bullet holes.

Jaeger, GREAT JOB!!! That is cool as hell. I love the bullet holes. If there were a Best Rover contest, you would have my vote.

Very cool rover.:D Does the paint effect the lazer tag?

Racemonster505 12-07-2002 07:39 PM

is that paint or decals and where did you get them if you did? all you need now is some head light and that thing would scare anyone

Done on Computer

I designed it in Illustrator and printed it to a color laser printer. I used an adhesive lamenent and stuck it to the rover. It is water-proof and smudge proof. When I get bored I can just peal it off and stick another design on.

how much do you sell those plastic covers for?

Plantraco 12-13-2002 02:50 PM

Plastic covers

Right now they are still free - just pay the shipping - but we will be charging about $3.00 - $5.00 for accessory items as soon as we can get our updated business systems online.

Purple Penguin 12-13-2002 02:53 PM

how much would the shipping be on say 4 of them?

would I be able to get 4 for free? and how about more then 4?

Thats a brilliant idea. At first I thought the details were stickers or transfers (the bullet holes look identical, so I figured it couldnt be hand painted), but your idea is excellent. So simple and yet works so well. Gonna have to use it myself.

Speaking of which, Im also interested in hearing how the custom paint job affects IR-exposure. I havent received my rovers yet so I dont really know where the sensors are located. Does the custom body work obscure the sensors at all? Did you have to leave any transparent areas?

Nice work.
