Installing muffler?
Hey, im just wondering how you guys installed your muffler/s? Exacto knife or what? I didnt feel like reading evry single post in the mufflers thread, so what im lazy lol...Hope you guys can help thanks.

depending on what kind of muffler you have/made
make a small hole in the muffler part, and use a microskrew and remove your motor and put the skrew through one of the holes in the bottom rear, and then skrew your exhaust on... i have an exhaust/muffler that is made out of pen/gel pen tubing..so it was easy to install |
Oh ok thanks, but i was thinking of just drilling out the muffler spot then just using model glue, and glue it the the spot i drilled out, would that work also? Thanks.

mine came with a whole in it specifically made for a screw :) check out toys 'r' us or target for a toy car called "Modifiers" but make sure you get a Series 2 1/43 scale.. not the Series 1 1/64 scale. the series 2 comes with replacement mufflers for the car. i just used one of them.. granted i bought this toy before i even knew about the mini r/c world, so i didn't buy it specifically for the muffler.

OK thanks guys. Im probably just gonna glue it because i got my muffler out of a model set and its small and plastic so it would be pretty hard to screw it in, and also what ghosstryda said. Ill post pics of my skyline soon, i hope lol.

i just used hot glue/super glue and glued it to the body...
