Mag keychain

Just got my rover today. Fast service from Plantraco. Been a huge hit at the office. Was thinking about velcro-ing 2 Mag keychain lights on the side toward the front of the rover(I have the camera housing in). My house is dark and it will add some weight to the front hopefully keeping it from going over. It is unstopable though. I'll try it tomorrow with some pics.

so with the flashlight on the side like that is it still able to get 'hit' on the drivers side by an IR beam from another Rover?

Hmm, niether of mine will register a hit from the bottom. how far away were yours when you tried it?

when experimenting I found something pretty cool out. if you have your control turned off (snooze) your tank wont get hit, kind of like a temperary shield, you take no hits but you can't move either. does someone else want to see if this works with thier rovers?

night vision on our old B&W PTV cams

The first PTV cameras were B&W, BUT they did have an interesting advantage:

They were "0 lux" cameras, and could see infrared - which was very cool for exploring dark rooms.

Ah well - everyone wanted color - so we decided to move completely to the PTV16C and PTV19C Color wireless video cameras. We had to listen to the majority of our customers, but the B&W cams were also pretty cool!
