Jerky steering

I recently got a clone r/c for a friend. It's got some insane 2.6 motor with enough torque that it sails across carpet like nothing. And it steers almost too sharply, litteraly on a dime. The only problem is that it jerks while your driving. It will drive straight for a bit, then jerk left or right.

Is there an easy solution to this? Would spring suspension fix the problem? Or do you need more weight in the front?  I'm not sure. Any help would be most welcome.

it may just be really fast. If your steering is kinda loose, at a high speed it will jerk around.

Spring suspension would help a lot. But one question for you, how do u jknow the engine is a 2.6.....? I know cloes have crazy torque but most of them dont list it...

well, I ordered it from char-g.com. and they said it had a 2.6 in it. Also, it's faster than my 2.2 bit but not overly fast, so I'm making the assumption that it's a 2.6. ;) btw, don't buy from char-g.com unless you want to wait 20 or so days to get the bloody car.

I'll add some springs to it and see if that helps. Thanks!
