what kind of paints should i use to paint my bit body?

what kind of paint should i use to paint over my stock bit body? how about a clear body?

any special methods you would recommend?

on a clear body i recomend painting the inside, so if you run into something, you won't scratch or chip the paint, plus you can make it look cool

TO answer you first question, i use testors and it works fine. I would suggest to use spray paint or an air brush and just tape the spots that you dont want painted. To answer your second question, i would suggest painting on BOTH sides of the paint, it gives it a little bit more shiny loo,. And i would also suggest that u use gloss, and you probably would definetly need it on the inside so the paint wont rub off against the chassis. Hope that helps.

this has been talked about alot...
but i prefer to paint on the inside with dark colors, and metallic and anything normal or light colored on the outside...

i prefer to use Tamiya paints because its more durbable, and doesnt come off if you scratch or hit something.

color markers and sharpies are the best, i color lizards on my arms sometimes

well i just sprayed mine with primer on the outside and gave it a lite sand.i went to autozone to check the colors they have and i found the coolest paint.it's that mystic paint that changes colors like on the mustang cobra's.so i should have it painted in a couple of days i'll keep you posted

i tried spraying it with an airbrusher, but it killed it - so i just hand paintedthem with testor's paint and it owns now, i will post pics later :bigthumb:

i painted my yota with that duplicolor mirage paint.i used the gold/magenta, and it came out dope looking.you just have to do like 5 or 6 coats of the paint before the clear.

i got the paint at wal-mart.i don't have a real good pic, cause my camera is a p.o.s.but here's one anyways.

the color actually came out real dope looking.when there's no direct light on it, it's like a burgundy, and when light hits it directly on, it changes to a copperish bronze color.
