Nos

I own a Microsizer but since I am not patient enough to wait a week to get a Bit Char-G motor off the Internet I figure I will go to radioshack and buy a Nos motor.............Is this a good choice or should i wait and order a Bit Char-G?

the red ZZ motor beats the nos

It does? The red zz motor beats the nos motor

I've read a lot of posts that say the red turbo is faster than the yellow NOS. I get the opposite results. As the manufacturer claims and my cars show, the NOS is much faster than the red turbo.

the red engine has much more torque and i find it alot better than the NOS. unless you're dragging or doing alot of straightaways, red is alot better because you get a hell of alot better acceleration out of turns and such. NOS accelerates pretty slow and doesn't outdo the turbo by much in ways of top speed

I dunno. This reminds me of the every witness seeing a different suspect scenario. I went out to my track, raced two cars, both have red gears and one has red turbo and one has a NOS. NOS screamed around the track almost unable to be controlled. The red turbo was slower and I didn't notice much torque difference. The only difference I see is the NOS car was much faster and burned up the battery charge faster as a result. Maybe it's just me.
On second thought, I am running the RX7 body with the NOS and the Mustang body with the turbo. Both bodies have been made into convertables. I think the RX7 is the lighter of the two and this may account for the evening out of the torque. I should do this again with both Mustang bodies. All of my three cars are convertables now. Would be a more even test.

The NOS motor is definetly faster than the turbo.

i have all three of the motors in questiion and i dont have my zip anymore but my shen clone kicks some ass and i use the bit2.6 motor and its faster top speed and more torque than the turbo or nos i have read about people saying that the nos is faster and the turbo is faster it all depends on the motor some are built better than others.

My 2 cents...

The NOS is the fastest/quickest motor in my experience. But, the fastest might not be the best in your case- depending on the race course, etc...

On a similar note, I put a K.I.T. Hot Wheels orange 2.6 motor in my MicroSizer- They FLY!!!!!

the motor that came with my junky "thor" clone smokes the orange 2.6 in torque and top speed.
