Microsizer reception
 

I bought a 27mhz Microsizer Subaru WRX (blue) but it only has a range of 5ft!!!! WHATS GOING ON!!! I did removed the Crippler Capacitor but it didn't improve at all!!! I looked at the controller but I dont see the CC in there. Any other ideas on how I can improve my range to atleast 10ft. (by the way this is indoors)

If you take off the body, then the pcb cover, then carefully lift the pcb you'll see that the wire is run to the front for no good reason. Untie the knot in the antenna and run it out behind the pcb board instead and the antenna will be longer. This should help your range.

thanx i tried it an i got about 1ft more range i still need more though!!! it also doesnt look like the coolest thing ever with the 5 in antenna sticking out and falling over cuzz its too long

*edit* haha we have the same car, lets hope we don't meet at the races or else we're screwed!

i removed the crip cap from the car but i cant seem to find it in the controller so im doubting if it has one

as for the telescopic antenna and solid copper gauge wire car antenna ill give those two a try and tell u how they work out
