Yet Again I Need Help
Last night i stopped at target to get on of the 20.00 microsizers. When i got there there were people all over the place looking for them. Luckily they wereon a top shelf and their were 3 more left. 2 yellow lancers and a s2000. I could'nt resist so i got them all. i opened 1 the s2000 and i have a NiMH 150mah battery it will fit in the car and all but if i press forward while it is on the charging dock it will work but if i press it on the floor while i am trying to drive it. The car won't even work. I need help quick i want to do some mods so at 1:00 i can blow my friends dual cell zz to pieces. Thanks.b1spd bc12m bg825 :bss: :bts: :bgdr: :bsm: :D

that usually menas the battery is dead
|
or the battery is bakward
good luck |
The problem is the 150 mah nimh cell is not making full contact to the positive and negative plates. the reason why the car is working is because when you charge it the energy skips the battery and straight to the pcb board and now you probably busted your pcb chip because it had no where to store that burst of energy. That is why i always charge it for 5 seconds then take it off to see if it works even a little bit so i know that there is contact. Also with 150 mah nimh cells, if i recall, you must bend the tabs that hold the battery a little bit torward the middle so they are shaped like this +/___\- get it? before they were like this + |__| - and after they should look like this +/___\-
*EDIT* however dont bend them 2 MUCH LIKE THAT PICTURE it was just an example. Bend just a tad enough so that the tab will lean forwar a little bit (you can feel when its bending and when its bending forward) |
thats a good explination there calsonic...
