Have you Streeeeetched your bit?
Have many of you stretched your bits or micros to fit the 1/64 slot bodies?
Does this make the cars turn better? I mean some of you can keep up with these things but I am getting on up in age and by the time I make a turn I have rammed into a wall before I can get turned the other way. ie. S turns. Anyway I was wondering about the effect of the lengthining the car a tad. thanx... |

ZZs are just a little bit longer than Bits. Check them out at Rat Shack. Some 1/64 bodies fit, some don't. It's the wheel base openings that make the diff. As for stretching....I've been thinking about a little work to make a dragster type bit...wouldn't need much steering. Something to try with styrene rods, I'll give it a try....when I have some spare time...HA! |
Hawg,
I have stretched a bit char-g out to fit an HO slot car body. I was disappointed. I don't suggest doing this. It is better to swap a bit char-g PCB into a Zip Zap. Kyle |
are the zip zap bodies too big for my microsizer chassis?
