Selling for almost 50 bucks too, never saw it before and it's in stock (at a rival store). All I know is, who would buy such an odd thing? The same store has a 27mhz booster set for almost 13 bucks on sale - is 27 the most popular freq? Because none of the other boosters are on sale.

Those are the new battle Bits. They come 2 to a set. I found the info here: www.tinyrctoys.com. I think they're like $50 for the set. They also have the monster bits too.
