Debate

Recently I read the "Concerned Owner" thread and I wanted to get a comprehensive thing going. I was planning on this car with these parts and wondered if your pro's could help me on which would be best to use.

Drag Cars

Bit-Charg Castrol Tom's Supra
OEM 3.8
Green Gear and Axel
Racing Tires
Level 3 Suspension

OR

ZZ FaF Supra
OEM 3.8
Red Gear and Axel
Racing Tires
Level 3 Suspension

Which would do better on a 22' tack do you think?

Out of all of those parts and bodies I just listed, what would be a formadble setup for races with curves and turns and such? I am willing to mix and match aprts on both setups for drag and racing. Sorry I am kinda newer to this and need some help, also sorry for spelling.

Bit for drag racing because the zip doesn't have the punch off the line like the bits without a PCB mod however technical tracks zips seem to take the prize

I agree, Bits put in more juice to the motor so you should choose the Bit.

Thanks

Seems your right, running fully upgraded Bit as Drag and Ill trick out a ZZ as much as I can, what parts do you guys feel are good for speed, acceleration, and turning in one package, like a even balance?

Medium/Orange gears, softies up front, 'performance tread' ZipZap tires in rear, no stabilizer bar and either a 2.6, 3.0 or a 3.8 on a booster works good for me :) In place of the 2.6 you can use a ZZ NOS motor.

Supra-00 10-28-2002 03:25 PM

This on a Zip Zap correct?

NorCalCoug 10-28-2002 03:36 PM

:o I thought you meant on a bit. :o

I was keeping the Bit for Drag since ya said it is the most powerful. what is a good setup for turnign and tech courses with some speeds till to it but in Zip Zap form.

Here is the setup I use and it rocks.

Bit Char-G Booster with the following:

1. ZZ wheels on all 4 corners
2. Soft Tires on all 4 corners
3. ZZ Red Gears
4. ZZ NOS Motor
5. QFM Spring mod

This setup will give you speed and handling. Hit the Booster button in the straights and let off on the twisties...

Where do I get this "Booster" Button at?

Alot.. :D My boosted bit Char-G is faster than all 3 of my microsizers with the same motor.

Supra-00 10-28-2002 05:49 PM

How much do they cost? Can you buy the cars alone?
