you can fit almost any 540 type motor in it so its really up to you what you want...just make sure you have the ESC to back up the motor...

im pretty sure my esc can handle any good size motor. i know the racer ex has no motor limit, but i cant find many specs on the one i have. but i dont plan to run anything too crazy.. like a 6 turn. hehe. but at anyrate, sorry to be a newbie about this, but how do you go about cleaning motors and replacing brushes and springs and such. i think im gonna get a motor sometime soon. i friend got touring car and hes running the reedy spec class 19 turn.. i wanna beat his touring car.. to the ground. kill it if you will. can you gimme some info on motors pg?

nevermind. i think i got in under control. but a couple of questions though pg, how often do you clean your motor? how many runs till you clean it out? and how much runtime do you get with your 9 turn?
