Race Report: August 1, 2010
 

today was very busy... we welcomed 2 new people to the NanoTrax family, Pow (from BKK) who reads everything posted @ nanotrax and finally got a chance to visit in person, get his ENZO repaired and register on F1R... i think he's 9 years old but hopefully he'll reply here to confirm that :shutit: ...we also celebrated when Ek, another Thai R/C fan, joined our membership and qualified driving his Corvetter C6-R! unfortunately, he had business so he couldn't participate in our final... i'm sure he'll make the next one. :L) Julian Campbell, an american living in Indonesia now vacationing in Thailand, also came by to participate in the club race with a rental car. originally he thought we raced Mini-Z but was happy to make the switch for this event.... we all enjoyed his company in a race that went pretty smooth. Ian set the pace and kept it until the end, i struggled with tire problems like Calvin who got pimp slapped by Hugh! Julian bested Daam who rushed in to participate and ultimately felt he wasn't properly prepared. next week, we change to clockwise and its a whole new story!
