Charger not lighting up?
I am charging my Kyosho Lipo battery and the charger led light doesn't come on. According to the manual, if the battery has not been used for a long time, the light might not come on but it will in a few minutes. I ran the car and it ran fast. I put freshly charged AA NiMH batteries in the charger and loaded the Lipo and the light still doesn't come on. Does that mean the charger is bad? Has anyone experienced the same thing? What's the next step?

I just used mine for the first time yesterday...same thing - the light didn't come on right away - so I waited a couple of minutes and then it finally came on, but shortly after went out...put the battery in the car and it ran fine...probably will just take a charge or two to get its capacity built up???

I heard the charger wouldn't charge if the battery still has more than 40% capacity left. Is your battery fully used up? If not just try to do a few more runs before charging it.

Maybe that's it. I will use it more and try tomorrow. Thanks guys.
Do you really take the LiPO out of the car and put the cap on when not in use? |

I take the Lipo out and cap it. It wont discharge for it self. |
Will the car slow down significantly very suddenly when the battery is low?

i had to wiggle my battery a bit in the charger to get it to start doing anything
my first dnano tonight and i thought it was broken, lol |
My car suddenly got slow and I put the Lipo in the charger and the light came on. All is good now. :)
