Classes?

Do any of you guys know what kind of classes we might run. A stock class and a mod class, something like that.

I was wondering how it all was going to work? I mean when there is not a scheduled "Race" - would you just be able to show up at the store whenever you have some free time and run some laps? Or will it be like pay $5.00 and practice all you want for the day? Or what?

I have been emailing back and forth with Brent Johnson, the manger of the Mooresville store, and he said kyosho was suggesting something where you pay $30 a year and $5 for 1 day unlimited # of laps timed practice or something along those lines. Seemed odd to me.

the $30 annually is referenced on the racednano website so i have to assume that is to cover your annual membership dues.

Stopped by the Mooresville store and checked out the Dnanos, pretty cool... I think they receive the track in a week or two. Drove a car on the store carpet, surface a little bumpy but it drove well, fast and stable, especially with the gyro. Look forward to doing a little racing here soon, they say they will do rentals as well. I normally race Z's at High Speed Hobbies but that track is 35 minutes away, since the Hobbytown is 2 minutes away from my house I might be getting a little more transmitter time with these little cars.

Stopped by the store this past Saturday to pick up a couple of small things...Nice to meet you guys - looking forward to being able to run on the new track. Be sure to post up when the track is up and running...;)
