Need Ideas for using a 380 motor

Hi guys, over Christmas vacation I found some of my old RC's. My Nikko Thunderbolt had a broken knuckle that I had fixed with epoxy back in the day, but I don't trust it. I thought that I might use the motor from the buggy to either scratch build something or grab a kit since it is the only usable part of the car really (well maybe the tires and rims too since they are still in good shape).

Since it is a 380 motor I am thinking something smaller than 1/10 scale if possible so it will lighten up the load. I also want something with parts that are durable (if I have to buy aftermarket parts that are more durable that would be fine too).

I have no preference when it comes to on-road/off-road so that leaves it pretty open. There are plenty of places in the area to use either. Since it is a 380 motor I'd prefer it to be 2wd though. No sense in loading up such a small motor.

I've got a 540 motor too from another car that is totally demolished, but there are plenty of cars out there that I can find to stick that in.

Thanks in advance,

Steelo

I think I have decided on a DuraTrax Mini Quake SE. I know I said I didn't want 4wd, but this whip seems like the best option for that sized motor. If anyone has any other options I am still open to suggestions.

Thanks,

Steelo
