why don't you just magnetize the screwdriver you're taking em off with?
I launched an e-clip last night that I heard ping off a far wall, no way a magnetized screwdriver would have stopped that one.
getting them off is the easy part just cup your hand in the direction of the e clip.
i had trouble getting the e clips on. |
Atomic, Hot Racing and perhaps others are now offering threaded wheel shafts. So you can use a locknut instead of e-clips.
The shop on this site sells them as well (http://shop.tinyrc.com/home.php?cat=350) and they use 2mm nuts, the same nuts used in XMods and Mini-Z, so it's convenient and a heckova lot easier to deal with vs. the e-clips. |
i know that they have it but i have priced them in a few places and there like $13 and i dont feel like spending so much money
I'm actually starting to like the micro e-clips
two of my e clips fell of when i was running it. it was both of the front wheels.
