Nylon Lugnuts Falling Out??

I found an easy way to stop this from happening..I already have 4 aluminum lugnuts on my supra, but after a few months i found out that if you cut off the bubble on the stock lugnuts they work perfectly. I've even seen it in the books that the starter kit gives. Oh you can also drill it with a 1/16 drill bit right down the middle and sand it smooth..It works FINE!!

this happened to my friend but his cracked lol is there anyway to prevent that

mixedgangsta 07-26-2006 11:19 PM

lol, well tell him to use pliers to hold onto one lugnut at a time, with a 1/16th drill bit and take his time making the hole, then sand it smooth..trust me that thing is really strong...but not as strong as the aluminum ones i have:P...Whoa i know alot for a 13 year old :D

bengali548 07-26-2006 11:21 PM

yea i swear when you get an rc i think your iq raises

hmm a solution for stupid ppl perhaps

mixedgangsta 07-26-2006 11:22 PM

ahah lmao..maybe it could work:eek:...but im weird ive done so much stuff that another person my age wouldnt even think of..not just to rc's...im 13 and my iq is 135 is that high???

bengali548 07-26-2006 11:25 PM

ye i think its above average grr i wanna do an iq test.

the bad part about knowing stuff "your age" people dont know is the awkward silence when you say something smart than everyone around you is like wtf

mixedgangsta 07-26-2006 11:28 PM

haha omg thats so true, so i try to act stupid sumtimes lmfao! neways im out

Jazz32 07-27-2006 11:28 AM

Did you do the IQ test on www.tickle.com or somewhere. Those aren't that accurate.

Also, I've cut the bubble off of a few of them and when you have some pretty highly modified cars, they still don't work.

I've launched tires many times.... the only fix I can find for the nylon nuts is a small drop of super glue.

mixedgangsta 07-27-2006 01:19 PM

hehe, im just sayin its pretty good for the stock cars..mine is so modified..that id probably need thousands of nylon ones everyday:eek: ..but i have aluminum ones which can withstand the pressure

bengali548 07-27-2006 01:31 PM

yours cant be THAT modified im gonna guess yours hits about 30ish mph and thats still gud for nylons

mixedgangsta 07-27-2006 01:35 PM

lol, trust me with the turns i have all over this place..its like a hardcore race..i FINALLY have lithiums..:)..nuke sm 130 motor..omg..fet upgrade, all aluminum billet parts..it probably looks even better with the aluminum lugnuts:)

bengali548 07-27-2006 01:36 PM

hey random question but how many cells would it take to match up with a lithium battery

mixedgangsta 07-27-2006 01:37 PM

i have no clue..but this thing can do wheelies:|, i have to keep it on low throttle to control it:|

bengali548 07-27-2006 01:38 PM

just add weights in the front and put it back on high throttle

mixedgangsta 07-27-2006 01:39 PM

lol, i like it this way..it doesnt kill the battery as fast as HI would
