My SE doesn't work!
 

I just returned home in Ottawa from the U.S, got a SE for 12$ (Astin Martin) and put it all together and now it doesn't work!

When I pull the trigger the lights go on, the steering is functional, but the motor doesn't do anything?!

tighten or fix the motor clip

It probably has a new motor and clip, which really suck (IMO). Make sure the impossibly small contact on the endbell touches the motor clip.

Mine doesnt work either!!!
 

Darn...I just received my SE Initial D Mazda Savanna Fc35 Rx-7 and put it together and it doenst work...didnt budge a bit! I check all the motors etc...swapped motors with my 2 other SEs and still doesnt work! I noticed theres a piece of transistor or something thats directly infront of the screw that holds down the PCB locking mechanism...and its like a cylindrical thingy and it had some petroleum jelly like substance in it...and it was out on the sides etc...whats this piece?


Nevermind...I just opened up the pcb and found that the ni-cad battery was installed the wrong way! so I flipped it and now it works...man talk about poor quality control!
anyway this mazda is so much slower than my other two SEs...but its good for my 5yr old to practice...
