wow cool, what did you get that motor out of?

grimmreap3r 01-15-2006 08:10 PM

Motor is from Team Losi Mini-T.
I will use Mini-T reciver/esc, Mini-T servo, and 4 or a 6 cell (if i have more battery space) AA NiMh custom-homemade pack.

I dont know what to stretch it out with. I think ill use steel and use mounting holes. 3 holes on front and back end.

It will not be 4wd because the front drivetrain is weak and wear down fast. I can make it 4wd but for slow speed useage.

Going to use the Ice charger with JST plugs.

I will also try to get 2 ball bearings to replace the white nylon bushings.

WOw...a motor from a mini-t...thats gonna be mad power. and that esc looks kinda big there ide suggest an xrs they are very light and small but I dont thinkied you would wanna spend anymore than you need on a tiny car like this. and will that esc even take aas?

Lowered CG because of flipping over on turns.

This is an interesting project, but I'm kind of confused. It seems you'll have a ~12" truck with a ~3" wheelbase. What are you doing with this truck? Pulling? speed? It just seems like you're going to defeat your purpose putting all that weight on.
