Bullet Clone - Trucks -

Ok, now that I've got your attention: Walgreens, 3 for $12. Charge N Go clones.

Rather low torque, weak steering, kinda big tires for the single spring. Great start for a Dirty Bit type project.

They look really decent actually , Are the tires real soft ?
Man i want one of those now , too bad i live in new zealand  lol .

Make a video , take one off-road

They look cool, they sound great for upgrades and maybe if they are upgradeable enough, you can race ZZMTs.

I haven't finished modding them out yet. Stock tires are harder than I'd like, but they're paddles so on loose stuff like they're designed for, they can get by with it. If you cut them into pin knobbies they're much softer and more suited to all terrain.

Other projects got in the way, now that halloween is over I'll probably try to get back to it.

Hopefully both dual celled, suspension springs, monster motors, better gear ratios...

Looking forward to it , please dont forget to make a video :)

Dual Cell, fixed axle slop, "swaybar spring", Bit Articulation, paddle -> pin knob tires, front and rear skidplates, removed useless bracing and other ground clearance robbing stuff, reloacated rollbar, bedmount spare, clearanced fenders...

Thinking about a rear bumper, and maybe some rocker guards. Anybody have other suggestions?

Anybody even read this?

Snake Mod 05-08-2006 03:49 PM

I love it I thought you had forgotten about the modding of them. They look weightless.

Jazz32 05-23-2006 08:32 PM

If only I could get my hands on some of these. You could always try a better motor, zzmt or SS...... which i've got entirely too many of.

frizzen 05-24-2006 12:09 PM

Do you have a Walgreens in your area? If not, I could try and see if any in my area still have any and we might be able to work something out

The wagon has a ZZ-m motor in it, but to make up for the shoe-horning you have to do, you've got to remove nearly all of the rear body tab.

frizzen 11-07-2006 02:53 PM

****BUMP****

Walgreens has brought them back again this year. Wagon is the same, truck got a new graphics style. The PCB is a new layout, haven't done any real comparisons though. Build quality is about the same, but they're still cheap like last year!
