custom cases
 

have any of you designed a custom case for your xmods stuff?...im currently working on mine....pics to come soon as i finish..in a couple days or so....

Yeah, check out my "Doom" thread in the Gallery. I also have a custom remote (you can see the paint job in the photo, but I also made a custom orthopedic shell that is custom fit to my hand). Custom titanium chassis and power regulation module/heat sink assembly are on the way, too :)

well, here are some pictures of the progress....the stuff in the top and bottom are covered with a plate of plexi..and i cut all the foam myself with a razor blade...so it doesnt look as professional as horshu's, but i like it...so far it holds my chassis, controller, 2 bodies, charger and spare batts, 4 spare sets of tires, and an organizer bin for small misc parts and screws...i still have to paint and clearcoat the inside black, and there are a few more things i need to make places for..such as my stage 1 sb hybrid motor, tools, 6cell holder, and whatever else i didnt think of that needs to go in..

At work so can't get a picture of mine. Started out small and ended up nearly too big to carry. Will hold 12 cars and controllers, charger, many sets of batteries, plus 4 drawers for any other odds and ends I may need. Screws, nuts, tools. etc.
Actually it is more of a storage case for all my Xmods. Little too big to take with me. :)

Reminds me of my problem with my track. I need about 3 HUGE duffle bags to carry them, but no one I know of makes bags big enough & even if I had them, the entire track fills my trunk and back seats when I take it on trips.

i was thinkin about makin a custom case to put 4 of my cars in, but i havent yet. its sortof in the style of a garage, and places for four cars to park, and when ur done storing u can twist something and have the floor raise around the cars. it also has a thick removable plexiglass roof with a handle on it. i might not even do it, but if i did it would b sweet
