neutral adjustment, point of no return?

Can you turn the neutral adjustment screw too much on these things?

It doesn't seem to be making a difference and the throttle constantly runs...

Is there any other way to adjust this?? I tried to take the controller apart to see what's happening with the neutral adjustment screw, but i couldn't get it apart (didn't want to break the steering wheel)...

any help is appreciated!!!

.....If you take a small screw driver or an x-acto knife, you can carefully pry off the little cap in the center of the steering wheel. Under the cap is a screw to remove the wheel.

.....Good Luck!!!
