What do the battery wire colors mean?

I wanted to remove the 3 cell battery from my superslick for other reasons and i noticed there are 3 wires coming it,, one red, one yellow, and one green,, anyone know what these do exactly?

Thanks

since without pressing the booster the car runs on two cells, im guessing that two of the wires are for the two cells for running without the booster, and the 3rd wire is for the booster function. i dont know which wire is for what though. its just my guess. yeah you using the battery for your microsizer? i saw your post in that forum. should fly. i just got rid of my superslick. i like it but they thing only lasted 30 seconds, if even that. i might get a new one sometime. i dont know. anyone have that problem? i know that was off topic, sorry. good luck. later.

Yeah, i cut my microsizer in half and lengthened it a bit,, put the tri cell in it and some large lego tires and it does fly.. it still has a few finishing touches left,, ill post a pic in the other forum.

I just cut the green wire off and used the red and yellow,, red for + and yellow is -. since the microsizer doesnt have a place for the 3rd wire it just draws extra from the battery when the turbo is pushed on the micro.. works great but its almost too much power,, i need to widen it a bit

here is a link to what i did
