Gears grind often.
 

Hmm, I was driving across my water bed because I was bored, and the car bottomed out for a sec, where all four tires were of the ground, and it rocked to one side so both tires caught. When it hit i heard a grind and the car did a flip, ever since then the gears grind a lot, how could I fix this? :confused:

try screw the motor mount tighter

everything is on tight, its the diff gear and the colored gear that came with the motor.

Try shifting the weight towards the back of the motor, so the brass pinion is up from the plastic gear, that should relieve some stress. And if that doesnt work then I would remove the Motor mount that is located in the back and play around with the motor until you stop hearing the grinding noise.

yeah the same thing is happening to me. the bevel and the differential grind cause the differential is slidding on the axle. i think im taking it back cause theres some other problems with my xmod. fun while it lasted. later
