waist of money to buy a new set! you shoud have just bought leds and spliced them in instead of waisting money
buying a new pair of lights

Actually, it's cheaper that way. High intensity white LEDs are about $2 a pop, and high intensity red leds are about $.75. Add in wire for them, and you go over the $6.95 that the light set costs.

I already boguth ti and spliced. it's pretty nifty! I soldered and wrapped in electrical tape :)

Does anyone know what kind of LEDs are used in these things? I'm trying to make my own underglow with LEDs, but there's not enough current to run them. The LEDs in these light kits are ultra-bright, while mine barely work at all because of the lack of current.

Is there some kind of current amplifier on that board or what?

try wiring them with larger diameter wire, this would give it less resistance and more current

I'm not sure if they're superbrights but i do know that if you install the sideways for underglow they stretch out light more instead of doing one spot or i would put 2 in a tube to make it look like real underglow...

or you could just go spend a whole $10 on the underglows they sell

Yeah and you can get them in any color as long as it's green.

Command Logic Ground Effects Lighting Kit is $14.99. At least that's what I paid for mine.
