Transmitter for mini-x reciever

Id like to know can I use any 2-channel transmitter with the mini-x reciever or does it have to be an am,fm,27-75mhz and so on any help would be appreciated thanks.

For stock receiver is AM 27. other than that u will have to match receiver to transmitter.
