Stack Fets on Monster = MUHAHAHAHA!

Just got it back from Crazy Dave, and it has TOO MUCH TORQUE!!! I'm swapping to Orange gears as soon as I'm done typing this!

Well, if you're spending a lot of time on your back from it, it may not be, and it puts this insane grin on my face.:D

I know. I haven't gotten around to it. I can ride a wheelie for a good 30 ft, just tapping the gas!

I made one with premiere 1.5, but it won't shrink! It's over a 1/2 gig at this point! No wheelie bar in the vid. I had orange motor and gears in the vid, and it still occansionally makes crunching noises (gears grinding from torque). On worn down carpet, I can stay on the wheelie bar for 10-15 feet. Red gears and orange motor allow for wheelies from a dead stop, and a very tiny wheelie comes from orange gears. I'm gonna try shrinking again. My 1st edited vid, and it's ok.

Dunno what he wants to charge. Mine was the 1st that he did, so he might've changed the price because of the difficulty involved.

Do you have the DivX codec? If not, get it. Also, try giving VirtualDub a shot. Compress the video to about 800-1200 kbps. See if that helps.

viperdout 01-12-2005 02:05 PM

I really do not want to pay for Divx, so I just have the player. I'll give Virtual Dub a try though. The problem I'm having though is that it refuses to resize the vid to 320X240.

Give Bink a try  Anyone who knows me, knows how much I plug Bink format (Hi Dan LOL!).

Bink format provides for the best compression maintaining the best quality over any other comparable utility IMHO... all without the need of installing additional video CODECs to play them back -:) Also, you can easily create a standalone self-playing bink format movie, and the embeded runtime EXE is quite small.

Anyhow, check out Bink at http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm (download the "The RAD Video Tools"), totally free for non-commercial use -:)

P.S. Bink format is used quite extensively for in-game videos and cutscenes for about 90% of all PC games in existance. Bink is the succesor of the older "Smacker" format, which in it's day was used in the same manner... almost all DOS PC games used that format for their in-game movies -:)

P.P.S. Any of the movies linked on my ZipZaps Stuff and GeneRally Stuff web pages were all Binked/created/compressed using the Rad Video Tools -> http://www.cmoo.com/~snor/weeds/zapstuff.htm , http://home.earthlink.net/~richnagel/grstuff.htm .
