Whats the name of this slot? Is it for a video card? What type? Its on a old P3 motherboard and I dont think I can even update my video card.....
No one knows at all?
I don't know unless maybe you can post what kind of computer it is or at least what model motherboard it is. I probably still can't help.
BTW It looks like a PCI slot. |
mine had it before i junked it it was a soundcard slot i think or a ethernet card...
Dead topic, but that's a riser slot that was trying to come onto the market and didn't take off. Some ASUS boards had them. I believe it had to do with ethernet cards or sound cards, but I can remember which.
Actually, i believe that is an AGP slot for video cards.
It's too short to be an AGP port. Also, AGP ports are ALWAYS on top.
its a cnr slot....(communication network riser) slot ....Its designed for network, audio, or modem riser cards... i looked in my motherboard manual (build my computer)
