I need some help

How many Rpm's can the stock fets handle? I found a 60k Rpm motor but I dont know if the stock fets can handle it. I'll be running 6 cells. Will the Iwaiver body fit on the XMOD like the Mini-Z,or is there a big difference.

the only thing that frys the fets are larger curent drawing motors, so aslong as the motor is within the safe limits of the fets, i think your fine, the stock fets i think can handle 2A max. thats a tough question tho, id have to see the motor to tell you more surely

here's the link to it

I think you'll need upgraded fets for that one. A few people here have already tried the X-Speed motors and have had to upgrade the fet for them. Also, that motor is timed wrong for XMods. You'd have to do some timing work to it to get the full potential out of it.

Thanx Murcielago659 that's what I thought.Do anyone know where I can buy a good motor from without upgrading my stock fets?

I believe www.atomicmods.com has a good motor that doesn't require upgraded fets. I haven't tried it personally, but I have heard a lot of good things about the stuff at that site.

i already been to the atomicmods website, they have alot of nice stuff but theyre expensive do you know anything about the motors on this website?

Murcielago659 11-25-2004 10:09 PM

Actually, I haven't heard of them. $35 is way cheap for the stuff they're offering, so be careful. In most cases, you do get what you pay for.
