hey I just found some cat5 lying around. I just stripped my wire on my 49 mhz zz and it made the range 50 ft with the antenna up. I used the green+white wire and its awesome. by the way is there any delawarian modders around the age of 13 that can do sme mods to my car please respond thank you!

50ft, damn... would look like a speck of dust at that range... seems a little over zellous to me... but impressive nonetheless.

why 13 year olds? i am 13, so... uhhhhhhhh..... okay. have fun and that is awsome, but what is a cat5. i am a noob. plz check out my paint job on my 350z, it is in the mods subfourm section.

thanks a lot. my attena fell off on my zz, it can still move and all, but the range is only 1-2 feet, if i use your mod on the controller attena, will it work? also do u think that the range will be the same or more or less. because my zz looks very cool with out the attenna. might post some pics soon!! :D

Hey, I am 15 and from Delaware. I haven't been to this site for a while but I just got 2 more zipzaps today (I always seem to lose them, then buy more) Could you perhaps explain the mod that you did in a little more detail?

The Cat5 mod is for the car. Just replace the stock antenna with a piece of the Cat5. For the controller, find a much larger gauge solid copper wire, and wrap it around (spiral) the stock antenna.
