One or both of my I-C3's isn't powering or charging right!

I have not charged 1000X yet.

I charge them and they charge abnormaly fast, but they can't power a 2AAA flashlight.

What the **** is wrong?

Hopefully my local Target has them on sale still.

i go to charge them today with my ol reliable 2 I-C3 charger...and they worked!?

i think my charger i got from ebay was defective. it just discharges the batteries b/c the batteries are cold after the light goes off

i am trying to get a refund for the 4 cell I-C3 charger right now.

Charger Problem

I have had the same trouble with my rayovac ic-3's. I've tryed charging them one at a time to locate the bad battery and finally found it. If I charge them one at a time, they seem to work fine....justs takes a while longer.

i think the problem is my quad I-C3 charger. It doesn't charge all of the batteries I put in, but the light goes off then off about 15 mins later.

My dual charger has no problem. When the light and fan goes on then goes off, they are SURELY FULLY charged.

Buy Li-Ion and dont worry about it...you'll be glad you did. I freaked out when I first ran mine. The front tires literally flew off the rims...Check out my pics in the gallery section...

I don't solder well. How much would it cost for 1 car anway?

I bought my stuff from AtomicMods.com...The Li-Ion charger is $20. The quick kit requires no soldering and is around $40. You just attach it to the stock wiring. The pro-kit is $45, and it attaches directly to the board. Also, the batteries stay in the car and you charge them in the car.

Check out the website and you can find all you need to know in the FAQ. The FAQs even tell you what all you need to get started. Robert Byrd has done an extensive job in hot-rodding these cars. I know it is a little bit of money, but the results are worth it. The car literally will be a rocket. I was amazed...

I actually bought the batteries from him separately and solder my own pro-kit. The batteries are like $10 each. I found some Deans connectors on line and off I went. Here again, the "quick-kit" requires no soldering, and supposedly is a 5-minute install.
Regardless of what kit you go with, the results are pretty incredible.

$60? I'm not that serious with xmods...i'd rather spend $60 on something else.

thanks

I don't know if it is the charger or not but I know that I have the same problem with the batteries not charging in a regular charger ... the IC3s have given me a lot of trouble lately and i've only charged them like 50 times.

if you go to rayovaks site, they have the warranty info posted... if you email them as i have (wrappers peeled off new cells) they offered to send replacements. i wouldn't bother trying to figure out which is bad, just have them get you new ones and be done with it.

The wrapper peeled off of my new cells too... I only charged them 4 times and the wrapper started to peel... I dunno... Will they replace them?
